Greg Couzens part of magazine cover creative team

Greg Couzens, owner of Couzens Hair Salon on The Walk, was the hairdresser for a magazine cover photo shoot at The Baum in Rochdale town centre.

The cover was for the latest (winter 2018) Real Rochdale Magazine. The magazine is a celebration of local culture, arts, music, people, fashion, lifestyle and business, with Greg part of the creative team.

The cover photo features Rochdale-based model Gwen Raby beside a lovingly restored 1967 Lambretta scooter owned by Councillor Billy Sheerin.

Greg said: “It was great to be part of the creative team producing the cover of Real Rochdale Magazine. Billy's restoration of his scooter is superb and Gwen, who was styled by Kelly Turner of 25Ten Boutique, looked sensational. For her hair I kept it long and straight in keeping with a classic style of 1960s.

"I really love the photo, I think it looks terrific on the cover of the magazine.”
